What's Your iPhone Personality?

Want an iPhone? By now, most people have heard about the next
big tech breakthrough. The iPhone has received a lot of media
coverage, along with a lot of hype to go with it. While it may seem
like you have to have it, you may still be wondering if the iPhone is
right for you? That depends on what type of potential user you
are.
The early bird
An early adopter is the type of person who has to get the newest
tech gadgets as soon as they come out. These are the people who
waited in line for a long time to get the iPhone as soon as it went
on sale. Chances are, if you are this type of consumer you already
bought an iPhone. You will decide if you really need it after you
try it.
Wait and see
People that fall into this category won't mind getting an iPhone
soon, but want to see what other people have to say about it first.
This can include the comments of friends or news reports, for
example. If you fall into this category make sure to weigh the good
and not so good reports you hear. Focusing on one or the other may
be a decision you regret.
You understand that there might be a few bugs at first and you
would like them patched before you invest in a new iPhone. Or, at
least know what the bugs are.
Tech nut
This isn't meant to be a derogatory term. The tech nut is likely
to have each of the individual components that make up the iPhone.
Namely, a cell phone. iPod, portable web browser and digital
camera. If you are a tech nut, then getting an iPhone could reduce
a lot of your current tech clutter. That alone could make it worth
the price.
Plus, the fact that the iPhone has a touch screen and orients
its display based on how you hold it and what you are looking at
can really make it desirable. There's lots of stuff to satisfy your
techy side.
Your average Joe
Probably the category most potential iPhone users fall into. If
you waited until after the year 2000 to get a cell phone or feel
just fine using a dial up internet connection, then this is likely
the category you fall into. You may want to make sure that the
iPhone isn't just another fad. Also, you may be waiting for it to
come down in price. Keep in mind, that there are a lot of cool
features on the iPhone, but there is a price tag to match.
Recommendation: Wait for the price to drop $100 and for more
cellular providers to be allowed to offer iPhone service before you
buy.
Business person
There are plenty of features on the iPhone to make it a useful
gadget for business people. If your employer gives you the option
then go ahead and take an iPhone. The email, web browsing, camera
and cell phone capabilities make it an easy choice. One word of
warning, if you are on the road a lot be careful with the touch
screen. As there are no buttons to feel you have to be looking at
the iPhone to use it, this can be hazardous while driving.
Whether you fit into any of these categories or a different one,
you will ultimately have to decide if an iPhone is right for you.
You now have some information to help you make a better
decision.
Purchase an 8GB iPhone for just $399.
